Day 3

Ask, and you shall get.

It works! it works! it works! *victory dance*

So, you know this struggle with work I mentioned yesterday. Well, I met with a dear old friend today, who might have brought in a solution for it. I shall bore you with the details once things are clearer, but let's just say that I can feel the universe conspiring for me. I can feel it!

My 10 positives:

1. I finally saw "The Big Wedding" what a fail of a movie... But I saw it, and it's off the list, and I never have to see it again.
2. Yoga was AMAZING! I love this 5th regimen we're on. It just works you out in all the right places. (1.1 done!)
3. My yoga teacher was happy with me. That lady is super inspiring and motivating anyway, but she finds a way to top herself of ever so often - it's amazing. She's amazing. So blessed to have her as a guru.
4. I shall start teaching end of June! Yay! Finally! Soo excited!
5. Had an awesome smoothie to start the morning with (1.2 done!). Mom had some too. I can literally feel the strength coming back into my hair. Bye-bye hairfall!
6. Yummy prawn lunch made by mawmie dearest!!!
7. Met Maitreyi - amazing company, and she has something amazing for me too! *fingers crossed*
8. 1-hr walk (1.4 done)
9. Ab challenge doneeeeeee!!!
10. Mango dinner... soo delicious. End of season binge.

What a great day!

Stay positive, folks!

Day 2

Where there is kindness, there is goodness, and where there is goodness, there is magic.

Yes, I've missed a bunch of days there in the middle, lets just say I'm terrible at developing habits, so here's how I'm making this easier for me. I'm looking at there 30 days (1st June to 30th June), and I'm going to develop a lifestyle of sorts, just for these 30 days, nothing more. Just 3.0 days. But 30 days, no cheating - AT ALL! And here's my inspiration for it - Marilyn Monroe! See, it was her birthday yesterday, and I just love, love, love her, so this one is an ode to her. Also, this makes yesterday Day 1, and today Day 2.

So here's my list for the 30 day lifestyle:

1. Health: This has been on the top of my priority list for the last 3 months. I think I've done quite well with it too, and I've reached a stage where I can't imagine my life without exercise and healthy meals. But of course, there is always room for improvement, and in this case, there's a whole friggin palace.
1.1: 30 day ab challenge
1.2: 30 day amla smoothies
1.3 yoga
1.4 running
1.5 vegan (heart faints)

2. Mental Health: I'm beginning to learn, that this might just be the most, most important thing ever. I keep wanting to go back to the kind of girl I used to be. I have so much more respect for her, and I finally want to be in a place where I'm in love with myself RIGHT NOW. I know this one is soooooper tough. Especially all this crappy baggage, and regret and self-loathing we carry around. But I do know, that the one thing i do have with me is that I never give up, and thus I won't give up now either.
2.1 30 day morning affirmations
2.2 30 EOD positives (blogging - yay!)
2.3 Maintaining Organiser

3. Work:
This is going to be tough to bottle down to for 30 days, because I am still soo confused! So, I'm going to take another 2 days to figure out what it is that I want to do. *sigh* This one is actually up up up there on my priority list.

Happy Things:
1. Movie with boy
2. Morning Jog
3. Michelle got admission in new school! Yeah!!!
4. Chatted with Ani
5. Day 2 abs done
6. New phone is epic
7. Room is cleaner
8. Siddhivinayak
9.Chores
10. Mom happy

Day 1

Have courage, and be kind.

I’ve noticed that when I start my day with a positive thought, and I end my day with heart felt gratitude, it generally goes supremely well. The 21 days of better living taught me just that, with them pushing us to pen down at least 10 positive occurrences of the day gone by, before we went to sleep. The first 2 days I struggled to think of 10 positives. The third day I was a little more alert through the day to make a mental note of positives. By the fourth day, I easily had more than 10 positives on my list, and by the fifth, I noticed something amazing, every occurrence in my life, seemed to be positive! Now, you might think it's the same "The Secret" jargon, but here is what it actually is - I had reached a stage (and trust me, with where I was in life, this seemed impossible) where I could only see the positive in everything, thus leading me to believe that only positive things were happening to me. And life had become the happiest place on earth!

Don't go and be a cynic now, and tell me that I'd moved into a bubble. ...OK, let's look at it your way for a second. Living in a bubble, you say, is unrealistic, pointless, temporary, and leading towards a major crash? Well, here is what it actually does, you begin to believe in yourself, you trust yourself, you become more open minded, you become more empathetic, more patient, you become more focused on things that you want, because, hey, you've finally come to terms with the fact that the Goddess that you are, you'll achieve everything you want, and most importantly, you fall in love with yourself, crazily, terribly, beautifully.

So here's what I'm keeping this for. To make a note of all the amazing things that happen to me each day. I had to start with my new favourite quote because it is the essence of what I wish to live by, and what I seek to be, and also, my day reminded me of it yet, again.
  1.  I looked amazing! - I've lost some weight, and a few millimeters, and I look soo good! Especially in my new formal outfit.
  2. Elal called me back! - At least they said they would, for the test. Which means I did well. Yay!
  3. I had my morning juice.
  4. I spent some good time with the boy and his friend.
  5. We visited the Prince of Wales museum, and it was great!
  6. Late lunch at Cafe Churchill - that crazy meat salad!
  7. Met Tanaya and walked with her.
  8. Had great chai and food at Prakash.
  9. Ran into an old classmate, and it was lovely to meet her.
  10. Met that cute kuku old lady! Got that lovely opportunity to help her. She said she would pray for us. -  made my day, this one!
  11. Had my night juice.
  12. Celery, Spinach, Pineapple, Mint, Cucumber all over - Yay!
  13. I started a new blog! - Double yay!
So, to you, whoever you are, you're reading this, try writing your 10 positives daily for 10 days, and let me know if you notice anything different by day 10. I'm eager to hear from you about it, and otherwise.

Have courage and be kind!
